The following properties are available for hire for either a single event or more regular bookings:

Conditions of hire and application forms can be collected from the Burra Visitor Centre, or emailing a request to burrant@chariot.net.au  If you wish to discuss a potential hire with someone, please speak to Dilys Bull at ‘Bulls In A China Shop’ or phone her on 8892 2303.

 

PROCEDURE FOR HIRE OF NATIONAL TRUST PROPERTIES

(summary)

  1. The $5 application fee MUST accompany the Application to Hire form [F1].

  2. Conditions of Hire as outlined in F2 must all be adhered to and a signed copy of the form returned with the Application to Hire form.

  3. Allow at least two weeks for processing and notification of the outcome of the application.

  4. FULL PAYMENT of hire fee and bond, together with proof of insurance, must be received no less than two weeks prior to the event.

  5. Keys will only be made available to the person designated in the application.

  6. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the premises are cleaned and that all equipment, furniture and other items have been removed by the end of the hire period.

  7.  The Application for Refund of Bond form [F3] should be completed and forwarded to PO Box 97 after the event.

  8. The bond will be refunded after the statement on F3 has been completed by the Hirer and the Branch has confirmed that all conditions of the hire have been met.
